Christmas just seems like a distant memory now as we in the Northern Hemisphere endure the rigours of the long cold Winter months. But all is not doom and gloom as many of you will have been given and received aquatic products over the festive period. Many more of you will be setting up an aquarium for the very first time and are getting to grips with all the paraphernalia that accompanies such a venture. A Mecca of fishkeepers will have made countless journeys to their local aquarist establishments to spend their cash on their beloved glass boxes. We at TFF wish you all the best with your hobby in the year ahead and hope you get all the enjoyment you deserve from such a rewarding pastime. Don't forget the forum is always here for you to participate, to give and seek advice when ever the need arises.
Our forum has gone through a great number of changes in recent months, none bigger than the recent upgrade and all the difficulties and headaches that went along with the move. We hope that we have most of the little creases ironed out and life is returning to some kind of normality. We have lots of additional improvements and developments still to perform and we hope that you will revel in what we have on offer in the comming months.
Regards

Welcome to another issue of The Findependent! As mentioned in the last issue, members could expect to see other ongoing aspects of improvement. Since then we have upgraded the forum software, which adds many new features for members, as well as increasing the functionality for the Moderating Team. We have also moved to a new server, So I would like to take this opportunity to thank William for all these new upgrades! There are many things going on behind the scene that members do not see, such as increased security, enhanced report systems, and other facets that increase and maintain the safe family oriented values TFF is known for.
We have also reinstated our Tank Of The Month Competition, something many members have mentioned in the past, and something the Moderating Team felt was worth our time and effort. This has shown to be a forum favourite in the relatively short amount of time it has been running. Judging by the enthusiasm & co-operation shown by members it may well lead to the introduction of more competitions. Our Pet Of The Month competition has seen an increase in activity recently; due to this we have decided that winners would receive a small award in the form of a medallion in their information box, beneath their avatar.
As always, there is more in the works, the moderators are always listening to members and taking a wide assortment of ideas into account to improve TFF. Without the members there wouldn’t be a forum at all. I would like to thank each & every member for their participation in this forum, as every one of you make this forum the enjoyable site it is today.
